More Bout Fat Loss Ketosis

It's not easy to lose weight, and it seems almost impossible to lose the so called belly belt. It's not some kind of curse or something, but simple fact that can be easily explained. And there is a simple way to solve this problem as well. You can solve it by putting your body in so called fat loss ketosis state. This is a great way for getting rid of this stubborn belly fat.

Your body needs fuel to be able to work properly. Using glucose cells is the easiest way for this, and that's why your body uses this source predominantly. If you limit the consumption of carbohydrates, it will force the body to search for its fuel elsewhere. That's when it will start burning those unwanted reserves of energy stored on your belly.

Ketosis is a metabolic state in which body starts to break down stored fat, to be able to get enough energy for its functioning. This results with the buildup of acids called ketones. They suppress appetite, among other things, and this makes it much easier to stick to your diet. But, there are some rules you have to respect, in order of not doing damage to your body.

Fat cells contain sort of receptors, and these receptors may be alpha or beta type. Beta type stimulates lipolysis, and alpha receptors impede this process. It is important thing to know, because lipolysis is actually the process of releasing molecules of stored fat. After that, these molecules are used as a fuel, in the process of oxidation.

When the body switches to ketosis state, Catecholamines enter the blood and travel to fat cells attached to previously mentioned receptors, and then they release the fatty acids stored within. Since beta receptors, placed on the belly area, for example, stimulate the process of lipolysis, this make it easier for catecholamines to attach to them, and to release the fatty acids stored within.

As it was said, every organism primarily used glucose, or blood sugar. If you are on some sort of diet, once all sugar reserves are used, your body will start using fats, but it will use alpha receptors in this process, and you won't be losing belly fat, but mostly fats from other areas. In the state of ketosis, the body will primarily take those belly fats, because that's where beta receptors are.

And now about suppressed hunger. Well, sugars give high energy levels, for a short amount of time. That's why you will get hungry very soon. On the other hand, fats contain higher amounts of energy, but this type of energy lasts longer, and you won't get hungry so soon. Proteins should not be reduced during ketosis, only carbohydrates should be reduced to minimum.

The consumption of carbohydrates has to be reduced to up to 60 grams a day, and you have to take 20 to 30 percent of your daily calorie intake in proteins. The rest can come from fats. Since you cannot take enough vitamins and minerals in this type of diet, it is a good idea to take dietary supplements.
