Google's Mobile Ad Division, It's Growth For 2014 And Beyond

The giant of social networking, also known as Facebook, global market share mobile ads revenue was a little over 3 billion dollars in 2013. The company is continuing to see growth in this area, and it has its sight set on tech giant Google's mobile ad market share.



Google has close to 90% of its share in the mobile search industry, and it continues to rise through the use of smartphone, tablets and other mobile devices with the use of its ads and apps. You also have an increase in Google's apps with Android operating systems with app sales on its play store.

The figure is expected to increase, and other Internet players are also expected to join in and expand their mobile marketing ad campaigns. Because today's biggest consumers are young people who are very tech savvy, and use a multitude of technological devices and social media, these are often the most effective ways to reach them.

Gone are the days when advertising was limited to printed ads in newspapers and magazines. Companies are no longer reliant on expensive print advertising campaigns that once graced the pages of magazines and took up entire pages of popular newspapers. Now advertising is all about interactive advertisements, ads that are geared to specific demographics and user friendly.

The fast rate at which mobile ads have gained traction and Facebook's ad revenue has further cemented Facbook's future in digital mobile advertising. Google and Facebook have now cemented their places at the top of the digital ad market, and they account for over 2/3 of the spending that is conducted in this industry. This figure is only expected to increase as more people use their mobile devices to make purchases.
