Hard money lending is growing these days and there is no way to change the policy in which lenders will only consider the real estate assets of the client as collateral rather than the other possession the he has. This is somehow similar to the bridge loan but it only focuses on commercial investments and commercial real estate assets. And as a hard money broker, you must create the connection between the client and the lender.

This career would take you to a lot of path. For every loan you have closed, you can get a part of it, and that part will be big. This is to say that incentives from this job is in no small amount.

This can also be you advantage at the same time because you can already find solutions if ever you will encounter problems.

You must know the agreement formulated by both parties. You are the one who knows about both sides and so, you must check if the agreement is fair for both because it is your call to let them reformulate. This is because whatever happens with will also be your liability.

You must learn the process of loan, you cannot help your client if you yourself cannot even understand what is this which is the main reason on why your client needs you. Do not be such an ignorant that you cannot explain every single details. You are considered as expert so you must show to them that you are.

You must be effective when it comes to marketing. Thinking of marketing strategies to attract prospects is very important. Without this, you can never have clients and lenders to rely on. It is said if this is used properly, it will also give you wealth you ca never explain.

To be a hard money broker, you are to sacrifice your time and probably your happiness for the meantime. Just think that once you can have everything you want, those happiness and time you sacrificed will be regained. After all, it is only you who can make your life change.
