Can A Long Island Advertising Agency Assist NXT?

By Robert Sutter

Those who consider themselves professional wrestling fans probably already know about NXT. The brand which is considered to be WWE's training ground of sorts, it has since evolved into its own entity, almost on the same level as the company's main television shows like RAW on Monday nights. Of course, any brand can use a bit of help, which is where I feel like a Long Island advertising agency can come into effect. If you'd like to know why, here are some points to consider.

NXT is an exclusive show for WWE Network subscribers, and to say that it has become popular would be an understatement. In fact, I am sure that anyone will immediately see this, since there is a high level of talent amongst those who the general wrestling fan would consider to be rookies. However, these individuals are given a broad TV-like platform to work off of, which has only enhanced their skills. What about some of the methods that WWE has used to bolster marketing?

I remember when, to hype a live event known as NXT Takeover 2, WWE RAW hosted a tag team match featuring a total of 4 wrestlers from NXT. Not only were they given time to work but the live crowd seemed into the match, especially towards the end. To me, this is a tremendous acclaim, especially for individuals who the general wrestling crowd is unfamiliar with. I believe that it's important to recognize WWE's marketing of NXT and how it may potentially become even stronger.

If you ask me, I believe that it's important for WWE to create advertising outside of its own material, which has been a big point of contention for me. Why continually address your own audience while there are non-fans who may enjoy the content if they give it a chance? To do this, NXT can be highlighted, which I'm sure that any Long Island advertising agency can prove to be effective at. This is just one idea that can be suggested by reputable firms along the lines of fishbat.

Professional wrestling fans can enjoy NXT and there are many reasons for this. Keep in mind that it feels very old-school, in regards to the environment, which is surprising given that WWE is a worldwide conglomerate. Of course, the material showcased on NXT is engaging as well, which is a point that very few will argue with once they're exposed to it. This program can become bigger, provided there are enough eyes placed upon it.
