The Many Things A Standard Poodle Yorkie Brings

There are dogs that are great for family groups and places like apartment units and those that have little or no yard space. They can also be good companions for singles or seniors, or people who like to live alone but with somebody else other than a human as a living companion. The best canine companions for this type of situations are also the most loved, well known and unique breeds in the world.

The most excellent breeds of canines have great natures for the home. The Standard Poodle Yorkie is a breed developed from two of the most recognized by the American Kennel Club or AKC and has been around for many years, giving loyalty and friendship to many satisfied owners. The AKC runs a system that creates standards and qualities for all dogs that are raised and bred in kennels or other places through America.

The Yorkie has been officially bred from Yorkshire Terriers and Toy Poodles, and is a small type of dog that is lively and energetic but not too frisky. They usually act as a kind of prompter for humans, because they like any home atmosphere to be fun. Yorkies also enjoy backyard exercise as much as any other type of canine.

They are also some of the most suited for being lapdogs, enjoying the companionship of seniors as well as adults and children. They are warm and can understand many things that a human can want, as they are very emotionally attuned to their masters. The breed, however, is still be certified as a true and legitimate one by the relevant organizations like the AKC.

The name that really fits for the type is designer dog, usually in use for those combinations of two popular and well developed breeds, like the Yorkshire Terrier and the Toy Poodle, by some owners or experts. The thing here is to develop or generate the best mixtures of qualities into one type, qualities like affection, intelligence and gentleness. One of the more unique characteristics of Yorkies is their eagerness to please people.

Do not underestimate their smallness, because they belong to a type which makes good guardians of the heart. Their barks are sharp and authoritative, because they have courage that is derived from a breed which was once the most prevalent house guards in the English countryside. Again, size does not matter for these specifically gifted specimens. They like running and leaping high and are quite good at them.

Being intelligent, they can learn tricks easily. In shows and other types of competition, they have some of the best routines in the business. They are also show stoppers, popular among an audience, which they love to please as well as their masters. One of their most unique traits is that of being a clown, which they do to their utmost during competitive performances.

Yorkies are the more better looking of types and always get excellent reviews for the show and grooming phase of a competition. The genes they got from their parent types have created an excellent mixture which makes them ideally suited to excel in shows. It will probably not take long for them to be recognized as a true breed.

Other interesting and unique characteristics recognized for them is their tolerance for extremes in climate, their adaptability and their being great for beginning owners, their sensitivity and their good health.
