The Google Shopping Campaign Program Advantages

If you have not noticed it, Google is slowly taking over the world. As of now I own three Google devices. I own a Google Chromebook, A Nexus 5 phone and a Nexus 7 tablet. I use Google to create word documents, power point, I store all my business ideas in the Google cloud, I use Google for my email client and I watch videos everyday on Youtube, which Google owns.

With the Google Shopping Campaign program, you can create product listings that will appear on Google's organic search. What are the advantages of using this ad format? If you own a website that sells physical products, you could get more visitors to your website. It's no secret that between text ads and product listings, the latter converts better. And while most people are blind to banners, people are actually drawn to products listing.

In order to create a campaign, you log in to your Google Adwords account, create a Google Shopping campaign, and bid on your keywords. Creating a product listing campaign does require product feeds, however, this is actually good news. With product feeds, you don't need to create a new campaign whenever there are changes to a product listing - the ad will update automatically.

The Google Shopping Campaign program should become a very useful tool to make your products more eligible. It should increase your conversion rate since users will not have to follow a link to learn more about the product but can instead make their decision based on the information displayed in the ad. Shoppers should be able to compare products much more easily and make a decision based on the product information.

The Google Shopping Campaign Program was launched in October 2013. The jury is still out on whether they work or not because it's relatively new. But if you sell physical products, you should try it. Make sure to read the instructions carefully though. Otherwise, you might end up with unwanted surprises.
